APPLICATION
GUIDELINES FOR FRIENDLY/CHALLENGE MATCHES/TOURNAMENT 2003 / 2004. PERMISSION IS REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL FRIENDLY MATCHES, ALL CHALLENGE MATCHES AND ALL TOURNAMENTS. TEAMLINES
MUST BE SUPPLIED TO THE REFEREE BEFORE COMPETING IN ANY FRIENDLY MATCH OR ANY
CHALLENGE MATCH. For
all Friendly/Challenge Matches between member clubs of The Scottish Youth F.A.
who are also in the same
League/Association, permission must be sought from their League Secretary. All applicants must conform with local League/Association procedures for issuing permits. For
all Friendly/Challenge Matches between member clubs of The Scottish Youth F.A.
who are in membership of different
Leagues/Associations, permission must be sought from their League
Secretary before the club makes application to the relevant Regional Committee
Secretary, at a cost of £2.
All applicants must include a stamped, self-addressed envelope for
return of permit. Permission of the Scottish Youth FA is required for all Friendly/Challenge matches where the opposition is not in membership of the SYFA. Clubs who are granted permission to play a Friendly/Challenge Match, MUST ATTACH THE PERMISSION PERMIT to the copy of their team sheet that is to be handed over to the referee before the game is allowed to commence. Permission
is also required before organising or participating in any Tournament.
All Organisers of Tournaments and all participating clubs that require
approval must submit their application complete with all relevant information,
a minimum of 12 weeks before the
commencement of the Tournament. All
Organisers of Tournaments must submit a list of competing teams. To obtain permission you must make application on the SYFA Application Form, to your local League or Association Secretary, who on granting permission will sign the form and return the approved application form to the applicant. The club will be responsible for sending the Application Form to the National Secretary of the SYFA for final approval. Any application on behalf of a League or Association should be made direct to the National Secretary. All applicants must include a stamped, self-addressed envelope for return of permit. For
Friendly/Challenge Matches the applicant must include an Administration Fee of
£10. All
Cheques/Postal Orders should be made payable to The Scottish Youth F.A. Clubs
who are granted permission to play a Friendly/Challenge match, must attach the
permission permit to the copy of their team sheet that is to be handed over to
the referee before the game is allowed to commence. Travel & Personal Accident Insurance cover are mandatory for all Friendly/Challenge matches and Tournaments where the opposition is not in membership of the SFA. Insurance is the responsibility of the club making application. FOR
TOURNAMENT ORGANISERS ONLY ALL
ORGANISERS OF TOURNAMENTS MUST SUBMIT A FINAL LIST OF COMPETING TEAMS TO THE
SYFA, TO ARRIVE 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE TOURNAMENT.
COPIES OF ALL INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL PERMITS FOR CLUBS NOT IN MEMBERSHIP OF
THE SFA MUST BE SUBMITTED AT THE SAME TIME. ORGANISERS
OF TOURNAMENTS MUST ENSURE THAT ALL COMPETING CLUBS HAVE PERMISSION TO PLAY FROM
THEIR NATIONAL ASSOCIATION. ALL ORGANISERS OF TOURNAMENTS MUST SUBMIT ALL
MISCONDUCT REPORTS TO THE NATIONAL SECRETARY FULLY COMPLETED WITH NAMES AND
ADDRESSES PLUS TEAMLINES, WITHIN 14 DAYS
OF THE COMPLETION OF THE TOURNAMENT. ALL
CAUTIONS AND ORDERING OFF REPORTS MUST BE SUBMITTED ON AN OFFICIAL MISCONDUCT
REPORT FORM. Yours
