Procedure for not being allocated a referee

Here is a thought provoking article concerning the difficulties facing referees. It is something those who shout from the touchlines should bear in mind.

Referee's Fees

for Games played in Northern Region

The fees will be the same as that paid for Aberdeen and District Juvenile FA games and are detailed below

Referees Fees

19s and 17s - £25

16s, 15s  - £23

14's and 13s - £20

Expenses are payable at a rate of £4.00 for a round trip of up to 20 miles with an additional £2.00 for each additional 10 mile round trip or part thereof.

The preliminary rounds and first and second rounds of the Scottish Cup will be played to a finish with extra time and penalties if necessary. This is because these matches involve only local teams

Remember the Scottish Cup is the only competition where there is a replay after the second round. When the teams are still level at the end of normal time in the first game the tie goes to a replay. There is no extra time in the first game. The replay is then played to a finish with extra time and penalties if required.

All Scottish Cup teamlines and miss conduct reports should be sent to SYFA Hampden Park Glasgow G42 9BF. Telephone number 0141 620 4591 .

In all ties other than the 13's age group a size 5 football should be used. The 13's age group should use a size 4 football.

Goal nets and corner flags are compulsory for all games. Any default in this provision should be reported.
